Don’t be fooled by the title; they are anything but less & it’s the science that says so.

In 2012, the greatest chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen, plaid in one of the world’s biggest championships in Mexico City, the Mexican capital, against Judit Bolgar, the strongest female chess player we know. The game ended with a massive win for Bolgar with a smart strategy Carlsen was oblivious to.

Bolgar, whose name you probably have never heard before, won the eighth place among the chess tycoons in the world, and we are talking about a list headed by Kasparov, Anand, and Topalov. Despite this, this list included only two women in its history. …

Here’s what I changed to be able to travel to Amsterdam to meet their team

Shortly after I obtained my Master’s degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I went back to the job hunt again. I am a seasoned Technical Sourcer, and I’ll land a job in no time — or so I thought.

However, when I stopped looking only inside my country and started applying for international jobs, magic happened & birds began singing.

When I changed the location of my search to become international, I had to change my approach as well. I couldn’t just dump my C.V. to any opening out there.

Preparation Process

My resolution for finding a new job was three central…

A game-changing concept

It Changed My Whole Perspective Of Money

Who doesn’t want to earn more money & become rich? What is holding us back? limited day hours and wrong money habits; that was my excuse to never make enough money until I read this:

“You will never become rich until you get paid while you sleep”

It took me a pandemic to realize the one clear fact: you can never rely on a specific source of money to get your needs fulfilled. The whole world crashed in weeks and no one saw that coming.

If you are getting out of 2020 with no new lessons, different perspectives & a revolutionary look at the concept of money; then you need a redo, pal! …

Find a job even if you are not looking for one

In my previous article: This is why it’s still POSSIBLE to get a job, even amid a Pandemic, I shared reasons of why it’s still possible to find a job, even with a pandemic in the way, and even if everyone around you is saying that you will never find a job.

Now that we preached the concept, it’s time to share the process; because like you, I hate people who criticize without offering an alternative or a better way to do things.

In this article, I’ll include everything I know on how to land the job of your dreams in a pretty concise & intentional way; if you are willing to put in the time & the discipline it takes. We are going to phase this in a chronological order to make the process super easy to follow. …

A look into why the newly-remote companies are actually WFH

I have been remote for twenty-six months now. 26 Months of hopping around from a country to another. I carried only my laptop and the bare minimum money to pay for my stunt. Life wasn’t always easy, but it was still rewarding and never failed to bring something new.

Being able to wake up at any hour of the day was heaven by itself. After seven long years of waking up at 6:30 a.m. to get me into a job that I truly loved, but didn’t love how it was done.

I’m not lying; I truly loved my job. The problem was that I hated the process; the whole corporate poisonous culture was a bummer from day one. I couldn’t go up the ladder without stabbing someone in the back. In the beginning, I played so-cool with angelic eyes, and a “We are better than this” mantra. After some time spent hovering in the air, I had enough.

Here’s Why I Changed Course & Why It Really Shook Things Up

We came to this world as different creatures: we look different, our tastes are far apart in times, we have different physics & looks -normally, I take this as an excuse to mention my big nose!-, and we have different lifestyles.

One aspect of a lifestyle is your sleeping routine. Some people love to wake up the earliest, some enjoy a later morning routine, and some are like me; night owls that thrive at night and love to explore the quietness, peacefulness, and endless possibilities the night brings.

That was how I lived my life so far. I never recall saying the phrase: “I need to sleep early because I have work tomorrow!.” My response to this word was always the…

To Have The Freedom To Pursue What You Want Is The Ultimate Source of Power

In my early twenties, the most important thing in life was to have more fun & more friends.

In my late twenties, the most important thing in life was money & getting more of it.

Right now, I truly believe the most important thing in life is to have options to choose from, being able to decide the route you want to follow, not following a path that was decided for you by someone/society/circumstances.

Options are the power you need to make your life meaningful and to get a higher purpose.

Let me explain it to you:

Fun & Friends Come & Go

Don’t get me wrong: friends are essential, and fun is what I need to breathe. But both come and go. Check your life right now: how many of your current friendships are 5 years old? 10 years old? 13 years old? Got the picture? …

The Simple One Truth That Will Set You Free & Help You Conquer The World

I am never a fan of a certain influencer or personality, but I am a seeker of the best advice regardless of the mouth it comes from.

Among the big and small names you may hear and the pieces of advice that would change your heart, shock your world and give you a good groundbreaking wake up call — this was my best motivational speak ever:

“If you wanna take the f**king island burn your f**king boats; and you will take the island ’cause people when they’re gonna either die or succeed, tend to succeed.” — Tony Robbins

You may not like the guy, but Tony Robbins' advice nocks down any other, better advice by miles. Here’s my…

You Deserve Better Than What ‘Others’ Say You Deserve

The other day I felt like traveling again. I swear I could sense the sands under my feet, the smell of the blue sea was vivid in my nose, and I needed my sunblock to minimize the sunburns on my skin.

When a yearning feeling like this hits, I turn to my therapist;

movies.

This time, I picked “Eat, Pray, Love”. This is the 5th time I watch the movie. But this time, I noticed something different.

As Liz was in Italy, she entered the Constantine Cathedral. …

The story no one tells about how a once-an-extrovert generation adapted to a pandemic.

I am guilty of being one of those people who used to think being an introvert was a bad thing — introverts had signs of “DO NOT GET CLOSE!”, and “STEP IN ON YOUR OWN RISK!”. I was always a party person — even if I don’t look like it — but I used to thrive when surrounded by people. I needed two things to survive: air, and a pack of friends with an infinite list of to-do’s. That was my thing.

Until two major changes hit my life, and I found out I was living in oblivion:

Change 1 — A Full-Time Remote Job

I was so happy when I landed my first remote gig ever! I am a morning person, but I hate the morning rush, the traffic, the sleepy/dark faces of a colleague, and on top of it all — I hated stuffing myself into the right different outfit every day! That was torture, I did that seven years in a row so I was ready for my freedom ticket. …
